In this role, you will be actively involved in day‑to‑day QHSE operations, covering both Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality. On the HSE side, you will work closely with local teams to improve health, safety and environmental performance by implementing procedures, supporting risk assessments, conducting audits, and driving awareness on the shop floor. You will play a visible role in strengthening the safety culture and ensuring environmental standards are applied in daily operations.
On the Quality side, you will take ownership of maintaining and improving local quality processes. This includes implementing and monitoring quality systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing non‑conformities, and working with operational teams to resolve issues at the source. By applying practical tools and working hands‑on with teams, you will help ensure consistent quality, exceed customer expectations, and support safe and sustainable operations.
Your responsibilities:
As QHSE Specialist your report directly to the Managing Director and play a key operational role in ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality service delivery within our maritime service station. You work closely with shop‑floor teams, supervisors, and management to embed Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Quality into daily operations.
What you will do:
Actively drive HSE performance by reporting and investigating incidents, conducting risk assessments, supporting audits, and promoting a strong safety and environmental culture on the shop floor
Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and Accelleron Group policies, supporting managers in translating requirements into practical actions
Support operational teams with safety equipment, training, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain and improve local Quality processes, ensuring consistent service quality, effective controls, and compliance with ISO standards
Capture and represent the Voice of the Customer, drive root cause analyses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed
Maintain the local QHSE management systems and support audits, data analysis, and performance reporting
Your background:
Hands‑on QHSE or Quality experience in a high‑risk industrial or maritime environment
Strong understanding of HSE legislation, risk management, audits, and quality systems
Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
NEBOSH General Certificate or MVK (Diploma preferred or willingness to work towards)
Quality, Safety, or Environmental qualification (preferred)
Practical, visible, and proactive approach, comfortable working on the shop floor
