The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for performing routine testing, inspection, and monitoring of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying quality issues, recording accurate results, and reporting deviations to the QC team leader & Quality Manager.
The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for conducting inspections, sampling, testing, and monitoring of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure full compliance with company quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The position supports the Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying defects, reporting non-conformities, and ensuring accurate documentation of all quality activities
Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, in-process, and finished products according to approved specifications
Perform routine laboratory and physical tests following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Record and report test results accurately and on time
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conforming products
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA)
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, GMP (as applicable)
Maintain calibration status of testing equipment
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and order inside QC areas
Assist during internal and external audits
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in:
Science
Chemistry
Engineering
Quality or related field
1–3 years' experience in a QC or inspection role
Good knowledge of:
Quality inspection methods Sampling
techniques Documentation
and reporting
Experience in ISO, GMP, or food safety systems is a plus
