Job Description Summary
We have an immediate opportunity requiring a highly skilled Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist. The ideal candidate will hold a Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification and have experience ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards in construction or facilities projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement QA/QC processes for construction and facility-related projects.
- Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, including updating the QA/QC binder as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Veterans Affairs and federal standards for quality management.
- Conduct on-site inspections and audits 2–3 days per week in Norfolk, VA.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and maintain project integrity.
Required Qualifications
- CQM Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors – USACE/NAVFAC or equivalent).
- Proven experience in QA/QC roles within construction or government projects.
- Strong understanding of federal quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Norfolk, VA (2–3 days per week).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Veterans Affairs projects or similar federal contracts.
- Familiarity with QA/QC binders and documentation processes.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 110,500.00 - $130,000.00
