Role Intro

The QA & Testing Analyst works with the test team to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that applications meet business requirements and maintain Deutsche Bank's high-quality standards. The QA & Testing Engineer takes a lead role in the establishment or execution of one or more test specialties for a larger testing unit or programme.
The QA & Testing Analyst identifies the tasks and resources needed to ensure that their specialised portion of the testing process meets software quality requirements prior to release into a live environment. The QA & Testing Engineer may specialise in a specific area of the testing process such as test automation, performance testing, testing process, test environments, test data provisioning. In this context the QA & Testing Engineer will specialise in relevant tools such as Performance Centre, Quick Test Professional, Quality Centre/ALM and Jira. Alternately the QA and Testing Engineer may possess or demonstrate specialist Business Testing knowledge or exceptional business/functional expertise.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the SDLC Governance as defined for GCP
• Defines test strategy for the initiative(s) he/she is part of and plans for the strategy’s execution.
• Checks that testing activities are conducted in accordance with test risk assessment and test plan.
• Defines or contributes to test effort estimation based on experience, tools and historical data.
• Maintains best practices in specialist area.
• Creates test data, writes and executes test cases.
• Actively participates in the development and maintenance of the regression test pack
• Analyses system requirements and defines testing scope
• Performs test automation executions, identifies failures’ root cause and compiles reports to stakeholders
• Adheres to test automation best practices as defined at organization level          
• Identifies defects based on test automation executions results, submits them in the bug tracking tool and tracks them throughout the defect life-cycle

Skills

• Strong knowledge on SDLC Governance CI/CD validations and automatic controls closure in GCP
• Performance testing with Gatling
• Automation with JAVA, Selenium and TestNG
• Joint Ventures and Strategic Investments control and investigation business process knowledge
• 2+ years overall software testing experience
• 2+ years overall experience with Confluence
• 2+ years’ experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Hands on experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, SVN
• Hands on experience in using test and defects management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr)
• Hands on experience with Bruno, DBeaver, PostgreSQL
