What You Will Get To Do:

• Managing day-to-day test activities to deliver quality assurance of software implementations across new and existing projects
• Leading a team of manual testers to ensure comprehensive testing of the platform, its interfaces, integration points, and business processes
• Creating test schedules, allocating tasks, supervising daily activities and tracking progress across the team
• Providing regular status reports and escalating risks and issues to the onshore test manager as required
• Championing the adoption of modern testing practices, tooling and automation within the team
• Participating hands-on in test analysis, design, and execution activities alongside the team when required
• Coordinating testing across multi-tier systems and ensuring appropriate coverage across environments and integrations

What You Will Bring:

• 3+ years’ experience leading QA teams within a geographically distributed or offshore delivery model
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Understanding and experience of working in SDLC model
• Strong reporting skills; including daily and weekly progress updates, issue identification reports, and use of ALM tools for tracking and status reporting
• Proven experience coaching and motivating a team
• Proven expertise in test analysis and design
• Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement; actively drives adoption of automation, modern tooling and evolving best practice within the test team
• Proficiency in ALM tooling; including defect tracking, test execution management, and dashboard configuration for real-time progress visibility
• SQL server query scripting skills
• Strong MS Office skills; in particular Excel and Word
• Familiarity with Jira for test and defect management, and SharePoint for documentation, reporting and team collaboration
• Understanding of multi-tier application architecture: Angular front-end portals, RESTful API layer, .NET back-end services, and MS SQL Server database; ability to plan and coordinate test coverage across all tiers
• Familiarity with CI/CD build pipelines and artifact repository tooling; understanding of how builds are promoted through environments including cloud-hosted and on-premise deployments
• Experience managing test execution across multi-tenant environments (single environment, multiple client databases/URLs); ability to isolate and validate tenant-specific behaviour
• General experience within a regulated financial services environment
• Experience within wealth management or investment services, ideally within a regulated financial services environment
• Previous experience on transformation projects, including migrations from legacy systems
• Experience working across different phases of testing including System Test, Integration Test, UAT
• Experience of testing using SOAP UI or equivalent API testing tools
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent)
• Understanding of regulatory transaction reporting, audit trail, and order management testing requirements within a financial services context
