JOB DESCRIPTION:
What You’ll Do
Quality System & Procedure Integration
- Lead the end-to-end integration and harmonization of Quality System procedures, processes, and supporting systems across sites and functions.
- Oversee the development, revision, approval, and deployment of SOPs and controlled documents aligned with enterprise QMS standards.
- Ensure procedural changes are translated into clear operational practices and role-based expectations.
- Partner with Quality System Owners to define current-state gaps and future-state Quality System architectures.
- Serve as the execution owner for Quality System procedure changes, ensuring documents are not only updated, but embedded through training, adoption verification, and sustained operational use
Program & Execution Leadership
- Lead execution of assigned Quality System integration workstreams within larger integration programs
- Translate enterprise quality strategies and regulatory commitments into executable integration plans with defined deliverables and timelines.
- Maintain integrated workplans, dependency tracking, and issue management across Quality System workstreams.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as a point of coordination for Quality System integration across Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, Regulatory, and Training.
- Influence and align stakeholders without direct authority, including site and functional leadership.
- Drive alignment between procedural changes and enabling systems, tools, and workflows.
Change Management & Adoption
- Lead change management for Quality System updates, ensuring impacted users understand what is changing, why, and how to comply.
- Partner with training teams to ensure role-based training, readiness, and effectiveness checks are completed.
- Monitor adoption and effectiveness of Quality System changes and escalate sustainability risks.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure Quality System integration activities meet regulatory and internal compliance expectations.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks related to procedure changes, process transitions, and system cutovers.
- Support inspection readiness and audits related to Quality System integration.
- Escalate risks, scope impacts, and timeline concerns to the Integration Project Manager to support program level decision making.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report progress, risks, and outcomes of Quality System integration efforts.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Quality System governance and deployment practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 8–10+ years of experience across Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Manufacturing/Operations, and/or Program Management.
- Demonstrated experience leading procedure changes and Quality System implementation in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and regulatory expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Quality System Owner or Process Owner.
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections, audits, or Quality System transformations.
- Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or nutrition.
