Position overview:

Join our high-performing team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll ensure quality compliance across operations while advancing our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

As a Quality Specialist I, you'll provide essential quality oversight through detailed documentation review, process monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You'll help maintain compliance, investigate quality events, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while working in a collaborative environment focused on delivering life-changing products to our customers.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

  • Previous lab or QA experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)

In some cases, an equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience will be considered

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in one or more specialized areas relevant to QA activities

  • Knowledge of appropriate regional regulations and guidelines

  • Working knowledge of project- based or internal audits and vendor audits

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong problem- solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis abilities

  • Experience in root cause analysis and CAPA management

  • Ability to remain flexible and prioritize competing demands/workload

  • Ability to multitask while still delivering high-quality results

  • Fluency in English required; Additional language skills are considered beneficial
