Quality Manager
Mission
Ensures that all incoming and outgoing products fully meet the specifications of any kind (customer, supplier and Azelis) in terms of quality and quantity. It must also be ensured that the raw materials are made available in the desired containers by means of tailor-made and timely packaging. In addition, the function organizes the sending of samples to the customer according to customer order.
Main Accountabilities
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
- Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Laboratory analyses of raw materials (mainly liquids, TW deliveries) in the case of goods receipt and filling of stock
- Release and blocking of goods
- Creation and archiving of test reports (documentation of test results)
- Inspection and measuring equipment monitoring
- Calibration of test and measuring equipment
- Support in testing and release of new raw materials or suppliers/manufacturers
- Processing of customer inquiries (food/Feed; Case, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics)
- Support for the conclusion of quality agreements and QM agreements with customers
- Examination and creation of analysis certificates
- Batch Plant and AZ deposit in AX
- Label printing (ESAD, Bayer)
- Label Creation (Bayer)
- Document creation (specifications, various commodity statements (mainly for food feed, chemicals))
- Support for complaint processing
- Return and Inventory inspection
- Support for audit preparation (e.g. ESAD)
- Support of sales people in customer inquiries for sales promotion
Experience, Skilles & Education (example)
- Bachelors degree preferred, trained chemical Laboratory Assistant or similar
- Several years of experience in the areas of quality assurance/quality control
- Certifications and advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
- Product or industry-specific experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
