Duties & Responsibilities:

1: Assist in Test Planning & Documentation

Collaborate with QA leads and functional consultants to understand business requirements related to Oracle Fusion Payables.

Help in preparing test plans, test cases, and test scripts specific to the Payables module.

2: Execute Manual Testing

Perform manual functional testing on Oracle Fusion Payables workflows (e.g., invoice creation, approvals, payments, supplier management).

Validate integration points with other Oracle modules (e.g., Procurement, General Ledger).

3: Collaborate with developers and functional teams to reproduce and resolve bugs.

4: Assist in Regression Testing

Participate in regression testing for new releases, patches, and configuration changes in Oracle Fusion Payables.

5: Perform Data Validation

Validate the accuracy of data entered and processed through the Payables module.

6: Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by verifying transactional data.

Environment & Test Data Support

Help in preparing test environments and creating or maintaining test data for various testing scenarios.

7: Learn and Apply QA Best Practices

Follow QA best practices, standards, and processes in a structured QA environment.

Participate in training sessions or workshops related to Oracle Fusion and QA methodologies.

Testing and Validation: Assist in the testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.

Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.

Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.

Bug Tracking: Help in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools.

Test Automation: Support the development of automated test scripts where applicable.

Reporting: Generate test reports and provide insights on testing progress and results.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Recent graduates or students graduating in May/June 2025 with a strong academic record from the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, or any related discipline.

  • Knowledge of QA: Understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with software testing tools and techniques.

  • Oracle Finance Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle Finance applications is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
