Trella Health is seeking a talented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support our CRM product team. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile CRM applications through strong testing execution, documentation, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Reporting to: Director of QA

As a QA Engineer here at Trella,  you will:

  • Collaborate with CRM QA and development team members to design, execute, and maintain test cases for web and mobile features. 
  • Execute manual testing using QA best practices. 
  • Organize, update, and improve existing test cases in TestRail, ensuring consistency and accuracy. 
  • Create and execute test plans for regression, smoke, and feature-level testing. 
  • Provide QA input during requirements and user story discussions, ensuring clear acceptance criteria. 
  • Perform API validation using Postman and basic SQL queries for backend verification. 
  • Support test documentation and help expand test coverage by writing or refining test steps. 
  • Participate actively in daily standups and sprint ceremonies, providing clear updates and insights. 
  • Collaborate closely with QA Mentor and Trella’s internal QA leads to support onboarding, training, and ongoing execution.

You might be a fit for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of QA experience in software testing. 
  • Experience creating test plans for across a multiple testing levels or platforms. 
  • Proficiency with web, mobile, and API testing tools. 
  • Experience testing SaaS products and/or Service-Oriented Architectures. 
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving software development environment. 
  • Working knowledge of test management tools such as TestRail. 
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases. 
  • Advanced proficiency manually testing user stories, bugs, and regression testing .
  • Proficiency with a ticketing system (Jira or equivalent). 
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, organization, and collaboration skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
