Job Description
Rockwell Automation's High Performance Organization is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Financial Planning Tool Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the administration, optimization, and strategic use of our enterprise financial planning and analysis platform. In this role, you'll work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the tool effectively supports planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across the organization.
You'll serve as the primary contact for the platform, driving continuous improvement, enhancing user experience, and enabling better decision-making through data-driven insights.
You will report to the Manager and working in Hybrid role.
Act as the functional and technical expert for the enterprise financial planning tool
Manage system administration, including user roles, access, data integrations, and updates
Design and maintain planning models, workflows, dashboards, and reports
Collaborate with Finance and other departments to translate business requirements into tool configuration and enhancements
Support data integration with financial, workforce, and operational systems
Create and deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support to drive adoption
Monitor system performance and proactively address issues and opportunities for improvement
Lead or support enhancement projects, version upgrades, and testing activities
Align planning processes and tool capabilities with organizational goals and best practices
3+ years of experience managing or supporting a cloud-based enterprise planning and analysis platform
Strong understanding of corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Experience with data modeling, report building, and cross-functional collaboration
Work with large datasets and maintain data accuracy and integrity
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a environment.
Familiarity with tools like Atlassian suite and WorkDay Adaptive
Experience supporting or administering enterprise performance management (EPM) or financial planning tools
Familiarity with ERP and HR system integration and planning workflows
Experience participating in tool implementation or transformation projects
Background in corporate FP&A, financial systems, or business applications support
Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with scripting or automation tools a plus
