Join our In-house Anti-Fraud team as a QA Engineer and play a key role in protecting our platform and users from fraudulent activity. You’ll help build scalable, high-performance backend systems that power real-time fraud detection and prevention at Exness.
As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate with other QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and the Team Lead on various projects. Your responsibilities will encompass managing all QA activities, including writing test cases, conducting exploratory testing, and supporting automation testing. This is crucial for upholding the high-quality standards of our products and ensuring an optimal experience for our partners. You will also be responsible for streamlining and owning the entire testing process from initiation to completion.
The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
- Plan and run test strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development process
- Guide teammates on QA best practices and help define clear quality standards
- Contribute to broader QA initiatives and grow skills beyond QA (e.g., DevOps, Development, Business Analysis) to support the team
- Create and review reliable, maintainable automated tests with high coverage
- Maintain and improve the test framework, CI/CD pipelines, and test environments
- Support testing of larger, cross-team features and lead integration testing when needed
- Track quality metrics, suggest improvements, and support process enhancements
- Stay up-to-date with tools, systems, and the business domain
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in backend and frontend applications testing, including 2+ years of writing automated tests
- Strong knowledge of the testing process, methodologies, approaches, and test design techniques
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of REST API and web services technologies
- Experience in automation with Python (Pytest, Playwright) or related technologies
- Experience with Allure and CI systems such as GitLab
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Kafka is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional setups
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment
- English level B2+
