Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team in India. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
* Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
* Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
* Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and testability.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
* Create and maintain clear and concise test documentation.
* Utilize automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency where applicable.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
* Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
* Experience with API testing
* Experience with functional testing and SQL.
* Experience with SQL plus ETL testing.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
* Experience with various testing techniques and tools.
* Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
