Your role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the Technology Team of Future State, building a corporate social-media-style portal used by employees across the company. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and smooth user experience of the platform from early development through production launch.

As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with Product, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams to test new features, validate integrations, run regression cycles, and proactively improve product quality. If you enjoy working in an agile environment, testing user-facing social features, and ensuring rock-solid releases, we’d like to meet you.

You will:
  • Perform manual functional, UI/UX, regression, and integration testing of web and mobile applications
  • Test APIs and collaborate with developers to clarify expected behaviour
  • Validate system functionality across multiple platforms (web, mobile web, iOS/Android)
  • Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to prepare and validate test data
  • Log clear, reproducible defects and follow up on fixes with the engineering team
  • Contribute to test documentation: test cases, checklists, and test results
  • Participate in product releases, UAT, and provide feedback for improvements
  • Continuously improve testing skills and broaden knowledge in automation, tooling, and QA processes
What makes you a great fit:
  • 1+ year of experience in software testing (manual or manual + some automation)
  • Solid understanding of software testing theory and ability to apply it in practice
  • Experience in testing web applications (React or other JS frameworks)
  • Basic understanding of mobile testing (React Native as a plus)
  • Experience with API testing (REST; gRPC as a plus)
  • Practical experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language
  • High-level understanding of event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka; deeper knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience with Docker (hands-on)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus
  • Bash scripting knowledge is a plus
  • Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn
Nice to have
  • Experience with test automation or interest in growing into automation
  • Knowledge of performance, load, or accessibility testing
  • Experience working with cloud environments
