So, what’s the role all about?

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Actimize Professional Services team. You will be responsible for validating and verifying solution implementations for clients across the globe. This role requires strong expertise in software testing lifecycle (STLC), SDLC, defect management, and hands-on experience with SQL, UNIX, and web application testing. If you are passionate about ensuring high-quality deliverables, have strong analytical skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.

 

How will you make an impact?

As part of this team, you will:

  • Work closely with Implementers, Business Analysts, and QA Management to certify PS implementations.
  • Develop test plans, strategies, and cases, performing both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Design and implement test scenarios based on design documents and functional requirements.
  • Set up and maintain testing environments, including package deployment and release activities.
  • Perform defect tracking, open bugs with detailed reproducible steps, and verify resolutions.
  • Create test data, prepare test reports, and maintain dashboards (daily/weekly).
  • Ensure compliance with BFSI domain requirements and AML/Actimize standards.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams in an Agile/Sprint development model.

 

Have you got what it takes?

  • Education: B.Tech/BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 4–6 years in QA/testing, preferably in product development companies.
  • Domain Expertise: BFSI domain experience is a must; Actimize/AML domain experience is a huge plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • SQL, UNIX
    • Web application testing (JS, HTML, CSS)
    • Tools: XML, JSON, Fiddler, Postman, HP ALM, JIRA
    • Knowledge of scripting for automation (desired but not mandatory)
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written English communication
  • Analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team with a cooperative attitude
