QA (Automation & Development) Engineer

What you’ll achieve

As a QA (Automation & Development) Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our Patient Portal (PXCS application). You will work closely within Scrum teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will:

  • Be a key member of Agile Scrum team and Lead and influence testing activities in Agile Scrum teams, championing practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and iterative testing to enhance software quality.

  • Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle rather than solely at the end.

  • Define and oversee the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated and manual test scripts, with a focus on maximizing automation coverage using tools like Selenium, Test Complete, and Playwright.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance, applying best practices to enhance team capabilities

What you’ll bring

Essential Requirements

  • 4- 6 years hands on and strong in Testing process, methodologies

  • Should have worked as part of Scrum delivery model

  • Good in basics of programming with fair to good experience developing automation scripts using any tool.

  • Should have working knowledge or experience with automation test frameworks for web-based applications, and be capable of making small to moderately complex changes to existing frameworks using automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, Playwright, etc

  • Should have a good Knowledge on Agile methodology and understand Agile practices (Daily scrum, Iteration planning, Retrospective, Test driven Development)

  • Should have a good understanding of STLC processes, QA life cycle and methodology

  • Should have strong knowledge on Object-Oriented Programming concepts and software architecture

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to be a good team player.

Desirable Requirements

  • ISTQB or equivalent certification

  • Experience working in healthcare software development or regulated environments

  • Good knowledge in configuring and scheduling jobs in CI / CD tools (Jenkins, AzureDevOps)

  • Keeping updated with the latest industry developments in Test Automation
