Job Summary
This role is responsible for utilizing industry and organizational knowledge to advise clients and support account managers in fostering strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities. The role performs market analysis and uses data-driven insights to develop competitive pricing strategies, lead contract negotiations, and improve sales processes. Additionally, the role leverages deep expertise in industrial printing technologies—particularly HP PageWide Press solutions—to deliver tailored, high-impact client engagements. The position collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and support teams, mentors junior team members, and ensures the organization remains at the forefront of innovation through continuous monitoring of industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the industry, HP PageWide Press technology, and the organization’s offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and business goals, offering tailored solutions that drive measurable impact.
  • Collaborate with pricing teams to establish competitive pricing strategies based on market research and customer feedback.
  • Identify new customer value opportunities and expand existing ones through upselling and cross-selling in partnership with account managers.
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the efficiency, ROI, and transformative potential of HP’s industrial print solutions.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage client interactions, sales progress, and follow-up activities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (marketing, product development, finance, legal) to ensure seamless solution delivery and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act upon client feedback in collaboration with internal teams to improve product and service quality.
  • Collaborate with training teams to develop sales training materials and programs, ensuring junior team members are well-equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
  • Stay ahead of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to maintain a strategic edge.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience in technical selling, consultative selling, or enterprise account management, preferably in industrial printing or manufacturing technology.
  • Proven experience with HP PageWide Presses or similar industrial printing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, value-based selling, and customer-centric engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated success in growing mid-to-large accounts and driving contract renewals.
