Key Responsibilities:
Execute procurement strategies that align with SRS Heritage Group's corporate objectives, ensuring an efficient supply chain with maximized returns on investment.
Cultivate Vendor Partnerships: Forge and sustain robust relationships with key vendors and suppliers, driving negotiations that yield favorable terms and ensure full compliance with contractual agreements to bolster operational effectiveness.
Drive Cost Reduction Initiatives: Proactively identify and leverage cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial efficiencies while maintaining rigorous quality standards and adherence to procurement protocols and ethical norms.

The Purchasing Specialist - Corporate reports directly to the Regional Purchasing Managers at SRS Heritage Group.
This position does not have any direct reports. The role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and alignment with corporate procurement strategies to support SRS Heritage Group's overarching business objectives.
Travel Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree or coursework in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related disciplines, highlighting a commitment to continuous professional development and mastery in procurement and supply chain principles.
Proven experience in leading large-scale procurement projects, demonstrating exceptional project management skills and the ability to deliver strategic sourcing initiatives from inception to successful implementation.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies, underscoring a dedication to enhancing efficiency and driving operational excellence within procurement practices.
Experience in the development and execution of supplier diversity programs, illustrating a commitment to promoting inclusivity and broadening the vendor base to include underrepresented suppliers.
Track record of successful change management in procurement systems and processes, with the capability to lead and motivate teams through transformative initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in advanced data analytics, including proficiency in utilizing data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to support strategic decision-making and enhance procurement intelligence.
Exceptional leadership skills, evidenced by experience mentoring and developing junior procurement staff, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
High proficiency in using cutting-edge procurement tools and technologies, including cloud-based procurement platforms, to streamline and optimize procurement workflows.
Strong legal acumen related to contract law and compliance, with the ability to ensure all procurement activities adhere to both company policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting, demonstrating an ability to manage financial resources effectively and contribute to the organization's bottom line through cost-saving initiatives.
Minimum Education:

Preferred Education:
A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is highly recommended, along with relevant professional certifications such as CPSM or CPIM to enhance strategic procurement acumen in a corporate setting.
