This job is primarily responsible for oversight of inventory control management (purchasing, tracking, and storage) of both low value consumable supplies and high value mechanical and electrical parts and components and management of vendor/supplier relationships. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, communication with customers, managers, and contractors to help efficiently coordinate activities and analyze changes in materials and supplies to ensure proper inventory supply levels. Additionally, this role will directly manage staff.In this job, you will:

Required – High school diploma
Preferred – Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience
Experience
Required – 5 years’ experience of purchasing and/or inventory in a plant or manufacturing environment.

Physical Demands & Requirements
Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment.
Travel, up to 30% travel for trainings, meetings, pick-ups and/or deliveries.

The expected base pay range for this role is:
$71,609.00 - $90,885.00Actual pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including work location, job-related knowledge, skills and relevant experience for the job. Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period of time.
