Purchasing Coordinator

About The Role:

Arbor Homes is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our National Purchasing Team located in Indianapolis. This position will assist the procurement and operation initiatives with our Divisional Purchasing and Production Teams across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.  We are seeking a collaborative professional who thrives on opportunities to facilitate business solutions and achieve quality metrics.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Support daily operations and category management related to process efficiencies, product alignment, and change management.
• Eagerness to learn about purchasing and homebuilding industry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Maintain Trade Partner pricing records and facilitate approved modifications.
• Assist in quantity takeoff validation and consolidated summary documents.
• Participate in value engineering reviews with focus on cost impacts.
• Contractual compliance and continuance with trade partner contracts, scopes of work, insurance and training.
• Work closely with other teams for cross departmental initiatives and backfill workflow needs.

• High School Diploma.
• BS/BA in Construction, Computer Science, or relevant field preferred, but not required.
• Experience in Residential Construction preferred but not required.
• Experience with Sapphire, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Smartsheet, Teams) or other related applications preferred
