What will you be doing?

You’ll be the primary interface between Smith+Nephew and card users, ensuring the correct and compliant use of purchasing cards. Your day will involve onboarding new cardholders, managing accounts, liaising with our banking partner, and resolving issues such as fraud or compromised accounts. You’ll audit transactions using advanced tools, educate users on policy, and contribute to process improvements that make our operations even better.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Authorising and issuing p-cards, ensuring onboarding forms comply with policy

  • Managing account set-up, closures, and credit limit monitoring

  • Acting as liaison with the p-card vendor to resolve purchase and payment issues

  • Handling security concerns such as fraud or compromised accounts

  • Auditing transactions for compliance using Concur and AI tools

  • Educating cardholders on proper use and policy updates

What will you need to be successful?

Success in this role means being detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in managing multiple priorities. You’ll combine strong analytical skills with excellent communication to deliver error-free results and build trust across the business.

  • A degree in Business, Accountancy, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience)

  • At least 12 months’ experience in P-Cards, T&E, or a similar payment-related role

  • Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, uphold integrity, and meet deadlines with precision
