RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring optimal inventory levels and supplier performance while supporting our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
- Manage procurement activities for a portfolio of products and suppliers, implementing inventory plans and purchase order processes to optimize customer satisfaction, service levels, and inventory investment.
- Enhance continuous improvement, develop supplier relationships, and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives across our organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
- Professional certification (CIPS, APICS, CSCP) will be added advantage
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities to manage large volumes of data
- Experience with inventory management systems and methodologies
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (PPI, Lean)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements preferred
