RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring optimal inventory levels and supplier performance while supporting our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
  • Manage procurement activities for a portfolio of products and suppliers, implementing inventory plans and purchase order processes to optimize customer satisfaction, service levels, and inventory investment.
  • Enhance continuous improvement, develop supplier relationships, and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives across our organization.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
  • Professional certification (CIPS, APICS, CSCP) will be added advantage
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities to manage large volumes of data
  • Experience with inventory management systems and methodologies
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (PPI, Lean)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements preferred
