Sourcing & Evaluation

  • • Source and evaluate suppliers offer by reviewing quotes based on specifications, price, lead time, and MOQ.
  • • Set up and maintain approved supplier cost details in the system. Vendor and Buyer Setup
  • • Request vendor setup and ensure all required approvals are completed.
  • • Assign buyers in the system and verify supplier compliance with technical and quality standards. Technical Data Classification and Encryption
  • • Classify and encrypt technical data for both PH and US regimes.
  • • Ensure secure handling of technical data in compliance with Global Trade requirements. Coordination and Communication
  • • Respond to internal email inquiries from CSR, Supply Chain, Pricing, and other teams.
  • • Provide timely updates on sourcing status or supplier concerns. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • • Work with Engineering, Quality, and PDCM teams to ensure technical and regulatory requirements are met.
  • • Support initiatives related to cost savings, risk reduction, and sourcing improvements. Ongoing Monitoring and Compliance
  • • Monitor supplier performance to ensure they meet the requirements.
  • • Assist in resolving supplier issues related to assigned commodities. Product Data and Configuration Management
  • • Ensure timely and accurate entry of supplier and product data into E1.
  • • Keep buyer assignments, vendor information, and future costs updated and consistent. Documentation and Reporting
  • • Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier information, quotes, and approvals.
  • • Generate reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and technical data classification.
  • Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Engineering courses.
  • Exposure in Bill of Materials and knowledge in engineering drawings interpretation, preferably with experience in Team Center software application and in Supply Chain works.
  • Awareness of the certification framework within which the work is undertaken.
  • Good teamwork & can work with minimum supervision.
  • Highly analytical & very keen on details.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience and/or training in configuration management in an aviation engineering environment.
