Ferguson is looking for a motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic Pump Repair Facility team in Norfolk, VA. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy coordinating teams, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, this is the opportunity for you.
Manage incoming pump and rotating equipment repair projects from intake through final delivery. Coordinate documentation, quoting, scheduling, tracking, and customer communication to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to company standards.
Receive and document incoming repair requests, verify warranty status, confirm scope, and ensure all approvals are in place.
Serve as the main liaison between customers, vendors, and internal repair teams. Provide timely updates on repair progress, timelines, and costs.
Work with sales and technical teams to generate accurate repair quotes and obtain approvals before authorizing work.
Monitor work in progress, prioritize urgent repairs, and maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems.
Review completed repairs, confirm standards are met, and coordinate delivery or pickup with customers.
Identify workflow improvements to reduce turnaround time and enhance customer experience.
5+ years of experience in project management, service operations, pump repair, or industrial equipment preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of pumps or rotating equipment preferred
Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
Hands-on industry experience in a specialized pump repair environment

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
