Your New Role...
Warner Bros. Television Group is seeking a strong and dynamic Publicity Coordinator to provide administrative and creative support to the EVP, Publicity, Communications & Social Media and the SVP, Publicity & Brand Communications regarding television series produced by the divisions of the Studio.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Administrative: Handles a wide range of administrative and executive support–related tasks for executives in extremely busy TV studio publicity department. This includes answering phones, managing calendars, coordinating and setting up conference calls, processing and submitting expense reports, and maintaining records. Coordinate and book travel for executives and talent as needed, including airfare, transportation, hotel, and per diem. Manage high level confidential information and projects. As needed, support special projects requiring discretion, accuracy, and timely execution.
- Media Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor daily media by conducting news searches to find all coverage, including major features, breaking news, casting news, highlights, roundup stories, reviews, recaps, important industry news, etc. Compile, format, and distribute timely coverage reports to executives and cross‑functional partners. Maintain and update editorial calendars for various trade publications and other entertainment outlets. Work with EVP, SVP, and other team members regarding targeted pitches. Maintain bi-weekly status reports for TV Group leadership.
- Departmental Support: Work across all teams under the EVP and SVP’s purview, which includes Publicity (Scripted, Unscripted, Animation), Corporate Communications, Awards, Events, Social Media, and Written Communications. Work cross-divisionally with counterparts at other Warner Bros. Discovery divisions and various platform partners. Act as the lead administrator for the department; have eyes and ears on all happenings pertaining to the department, the division, and the company. Maintains and updates various department and team calendars and documents with ongoing activities. Assist with departmental planning, including meeting preparation, agenda coordination, document organization, and follow‑up tracking.
- Publicity Functions: As needed, coordinate executive, talent, and/or producer involvement in select publicity events or functions. Support on‑site administrative needs at publicity events as assigned.
- Thought Partnership: Participates in team meetings and brainstorms for publicity campaigns and events. Benefit from a growth path within entertainment publicity, gaining exposure to foundational skills.
- Operations: Work closely with operations to traffic publicity invoices and ensure payments and track budgets.
- Other job-related duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience...
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years, including internships, of publicity and administrative support experience at a studio, network or agency (public relations, talent/literary, etc.) required.
- Prior internships in the entertainment or public relations/communications field preferred
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively identify potential issues, scheduling conflicts, or information gaps before they become problems.
- Strong research skills, including the ability to gather information quickly and accurately.
- Proficiency with core workplace and collaboration tools including Teams, Windows, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web‑based research platforms.
- Proficiency with remote communications tools (Zoom, Google Hangout, etc.).
- Must understand social media and leading platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear messages, interact professionally, and support high‑visibility communications.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while demonstrating resourcefulness.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and administrative skills.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
- Requires self-motivation, proactivity, initiative, good judgment, problem-solving, resourcefulness, follow through, a sense of urgency and flexibility.
- Highly responsible, discreet and sensitive to quick turnaround deadlines.
- Trustworthy with confidential material and information.
- A go-getter and a team player with a positive attitude for whom no job is too big or small.
Other Requirements
- Must have passion for and general understanding of entertainment industry, current trends, and media landscape.
- Must possess excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to interface with all levels of personnel, including senior management, talent, and producers.
- Must have ability to create and maintain databases and other resources.
- Must be able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment, maintaining cheerful disposition in face of adversity.
- Must have excellent follow-through skills.
- Must be able to manage heavy workload and successfully see projects/tasks through to completion.
- Must be able to resolve conflicts within the scope of responsibility.
- Must be able to work overtime, as required.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $38,511.00 - $71,521.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
