Your role:
Timely and accurate execution of the accounting processes for travel expenses through appropriate documentation of the processes, updates and suggested improvements
Timely support and performance of the frequent accounting, financial operations (i.e. preparation of jurnal vouchers, accruals, open balances cleansing, pre-payments, reconcile of the credit card inter-company activity and all open aged items, CARS) and administrative tasks (settings and updates of employee accounts in supported applications, preparation of reports, resolving employees query and requests) within the process T&E in line with company goals, procedures and policies
Resolving daily operations issues, escalating where support is needed; indicating and addressing improvements in the T&E process to avoid/eliminate then
Communication with internal auditors as required
Assisting with other accounting or process improvement projects and initiatives
Knowledge and information sharing with other team members and employees as required
Achieve delivery of established goals while ensuring the high quality of customer service provided
Hearing and meeting customer expectations with the assurance that entire work is done in compliant with Aptiv procedures
Building a good relationship with peers - shaping a proper work culture and cooperation atmosphere
Participation in team meeting, town halls and others
Working on the development of own competences and skills to ensure the efficiency of own work
Perform other tasks related to work requested by the supervisor
Requirements:
Very good command of English language
Degree in accounting/finance would be an asset
Some experience in the AP department or travel expenses in an international company would be an asset
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP) would be an asset
Self-organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
Ability to keep information, employees personal data confidential
