Job Description:

Job Grade: 099

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible start time, plus or minus one hour). 25-40 hours per week.

This is not a remote position, and you required to live within the geographic area of Louisville, KY to report to the office.

Job Summary:

He/She will have daily interaction with other Finance and Accounting departments, as well as other internal and external customers. Will be responsible for working with the Non-Op Functions and other Finance teams to support their needs. Responsible for producing and maintaining weekly and monthly reports and forecasts. The PT Supervisor will have responsibilities to include quarterly audit and other adhoc projects as requested.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assists employees with hardware and software issues
  • Troubleshoot current database isolate errors, and take corrective action to resolve issues
  • Make database updates to meet changing business needs, resolve anomalies and improve efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvement
  • Works with F&A group identifying and developing solutions
  • Assist in development of project plan to ensure project will be completed on time and according to specifications
  • Maintains and enhances current technologies
  • System support of existing F&A database applications

Air Finance

  • Supports core financial functions, including cost planning, revenue management, and preparation of journal entries, while ensuring accurate, timely, and integrity‑driven financial reporting across assigned business areas.
  • Collects, reviews, and consolidates variance explanations and provides strategic financial insight by monitoring cost drivers, analyzing production metrics, and contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning efforts.
  • Utilizes advanced financial research and data analytics to interpret trends, identify variances, and deliver actionable recommendations that inform decision‑making for leadership and cross‑functional partners.

Preferences

  • Rising college junior or senior or recent graduate within the last 24 months pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Demonstrates an understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts such as operating profit/loss and net income
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SQL or Google Cloud BigQuery is a plus.
  • Excellent oral, written and interactive communication skills
  • Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organization skills
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers
