PT Pharmacy Technician- Medication Reconciliation- Evernorth

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support clinical pharmacists and operational teams by coordinating day‑to‑day telepharmacy activities, assisting with clinical services, and ensuring patients receive timely, accurate support. You will help create a positive experience for patients, providers, and partners while contributing to efficient, high‑quality pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with clinical services, including medication reconciliation, prior authorization support, and refill coordination.
  • Collect and document accurate medication histories from patients.
  • Clarify medication and clinical information with patients, prescribers, caregivers, and pharmacies.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a phone‑based environment through inbound and outbound calls.
  • Resolve customer concerns, provide follow‑up steps, and ensure clear communication.
  • Support TSS staffing operations including call triage, order handling, and workflow monitoring.
  • Assist pharmacists with queue monitoring, data entry, prescription transcription, and insurance claim submission.
  • Transfer prescriptions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in additional clinical or administrative projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • National pharmacy technician certification and active state licensure.
  • High‑speed internet connection (cable or fiber).
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal pharmacy technician educational program.
  • Experience with medication reconciliation or prescription data entry.
  • Experience with project coordination.
  • Familiarity with Google G‑Suite.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17.75 - 24 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
