Job Description:

St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health Department within a large, well-established health system. This position is integrated with oncology services, providing psychiatric care to patients navigating cancer treatment and survivorship. You will work closely with oncologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions related to oncology care.
Prescribe and manage medications, provide psychotherapy, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
Collaborate with oncologists, psychologists, nurses, and other clinicians to support comprehensive cancer care.
Educate patients and families on mental health strategies during cancer treatment.
Maintain a highly visible role that fosters positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Minimum Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry.
Licensed or license-eligible in Kentucky.
Experience or interest in psycho-oncology preferred.
