The System Management, Costs, and Pan PS Quality Organization provides comprehensive oversight of product quality for Personal System Commercial and Advanced Compute Solutions products. The System Management, Costs, and Pan PS Quality Organization is responsible for end-to-end quality management, encompassing program management of cost, quality, and delivery. In addition, the System Management, Costs, and Pan PS Quality Organization manages potential quality-related issues for Personal Systems and Advanced Compute Solutions and implements a close-the-loop process that leverages real-world data and insights to inform future product development cycles. Through these efforts, the organization drives continuous improvement and reinforces HP’s commitment to operational excellence.
Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading multiple project teams, managing activities of supporting teams and internal development partners, and overseeing logistics of parts for builds and prototypes. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and leverages it to drive innovation and technology integration. The role manages project activities, develops schedules, budgets, and resource plans, tracks progress against established plans, and drives best practices, while leading less-experienced staff members.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Program Management: Provide oversight for all program management functions pertaining to designated PS Quality programs, including the PS Quality Pre-Sales Support Program. Key responsibilities encompass establishing program objectives, systematically monitoring progress, and ensuring the attainment of targets through the application of strategic methodologies. Strong proficiency in goal setting, tracking, and execution is required to drive successful outcomes across initiatives. This role plays an integral part within the broader, cross-functional Quality 3.0 initiative, ensuring seamless alignment and collaboration across multiple teams and disciplines.
Pre-Sales Process Support: Utilize in-depth knowledge of the HP Personal Systems pre-sales process to proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to leverage PS Quality organizational resources and technical capabilities, effectively supporting the Pre-Sales Team in achieving successful proof of concept demonstrations, system integrations, product trials, and customer deployment initiatives.
Issue Response Management: Lead cross‑functional teams as required to quickly investigate, coordinate, and drive resolution of quality‑related issues or programs. Act as a central point of accountability, ensuring timely analysis, effective actions, and clear communication across Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Pre-Sales and Sales stakeholders. Drive structured issue management, escalation, and closure while reinforcing quality best practices and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Education & Experience Recommended:
The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
