About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Program Manager to join the Group Partnership Distribution (GPD) team. This role is pivotal in driving the design and implementation of the digital solutions platform for Prudential’s Partnership business (PruPartnership) and will act as the key liaison between the Group Pillar, business units and the Group Technology teams to ensure strategic alignment, seamless execution and timely delivery of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business requirements: Coordinate workshops with local business units to understand and identify business needs and facilitate the formulation of business case with other team members; manage endorsement process and seek management buy-in and approval
- LBU Alignment & Convergence: Act as the central point of coordination for all Local Business Units (LBU) on strategic digital / data projects within the PD pillar; understand GPD and LBU’s strategies and ensure alignment; help identify opportunities to converge and scale local solutions regionally where appropriate
- Project Management & Oversight: Represent GPD to oversee the implementation of PruPartnership platform and other digital projects; co-develop implementation roadmap and timeline with technology team, track progress, help resolve roadblocks; ensure clear communication between stakeholders and alignment throughout project lifecycle
- Best Practice Sharing & Scaling: Collate and facilitate the showcasing of best practices and successful case studies from LBUs; encourage the adoption of successful initiatives across the group and support their eventual scale-up
- Market Analysis & Strategy Support: Perform regular market scans to identify the latest digital insurance and bancassurance trends and innovations; utilize these insights to support the formulation of the GPD’s digital strategy
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in insurance or fintech
- Prior experience in the life insurance; experience bancassurance sectors is highly preferred
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project)
- A good understanding of the technical aspects related to digital projects and platform implementation
- Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders across different functions and geographies
- A self-starter who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
