We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Provisional Payments Officer to join a growing Workers Compensation team. This is a great opportunity for someone with claims administration, insurance, payroll, customer service or workers compensation experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and making a positive impact on injured workers.

About the Role
As a Provisional Payments Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting injured workers through the early stages of their claim by managing provisional liability payments accurately and efficiently. You’ll liaise with internal stakeholders, employers, medical providers and injured workers to ensure timely outcomes and a high standard of service.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage provisional payments in line with workers compensation legislation and internal processes

  • Review and process medical expenses accurately and within timeframes

  • Maintain accurate claim records and documentation

  • Liaise with injured workers, employers, treatment providers and internal teams

  • Monitor outstanding information and follow up where required

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and service standards

  • Provide a high level of customer service and support throughout the claims process
     

About You

  • Previous experience in workers compensation, insurance, claims administration, payroll or a similar environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Confident using multiple systems and managing administrative processes

  • A team player with a proactive and positive approach
