Position Summary

The Prospect Management Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for an early- to mid-career professional who wants to be part of a dynamic and entrepreneurial team. This position will partner with the Individual Giving team to identify and assign top prospects, provide high-level data analysis to optimize gift officers’ portfolios, prepare for quarterly prospect management consultations, contribute to data integrity initiatives, and gather and analyze data for ongoing partnership with frontline fundraisers and leadership.

This position is a part of the Prospect Management team and works with Prospect Management Consultants and a Senior Associate Director to assist with portfolio management for various teams within the Individual Giving team.

This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible role on campus with an optional Friday remote work day. The Prospect Management Analyst will report to the Senior Associate Director of Prospect Management.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Creation and management of the Individual Giving gift officer queues and processes, including:

  • Continuously building and optimizing qualification queues for gift officers.
  • Prioritizing queues to identify top prospects.
  • Collaborating with Prospect Research to identify current donors who are Leadership or Major gift prospects.

Liaise with the Individual Giving vertical, Prospect Research, and Data Analytics to:

  • Manage the prospect assignment process.
  • Maintain and serve as a subject matter expert on WashU prospect management guidelines and Prospect Management best practices.

  • Analyze and curate data for audits and consultations at the direction of the Senior Associate Director.
  • Collaborate with the Annual Giving PMC to manage prospect assignments across capacity lanes.
  • Provide critical support in the management, maintenance, and integrity of prospect data in CRM.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$53,100.00 - $90,600.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
