As a Proposal Coordinator within PNC's Institutional Asset Management organization, you will be based remotely in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, North Carolina or Illinois.

As a Proposal Coordinator on the Institutional Asset Management's (IAM) RFP Response Team, you will assist with responding to Request For Proposals (RFPs), creating proposals and maintaining content by supporting senior staff. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop proposal industry skills from a tenured team and access to industry best practices and certifications through IAM's membership to the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, allowing a defined career path.

Responsibilities include:

• Document formatting (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proofreading
• Organizing biographies and appendices
• Attending and taking notes on kickoff calls
• Assistance with request intake
• SharePoint maintenance
• Subject matter expert (SME) outreach
• Incorporating accessibility standards
• Managing proactive and basic proposal/RFP requests
• Identifying content improvement and helping with content editing
• Reporting and analysis support
• Additional support as needed by the team

Preferred skills/experience:

• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
• Communications or writing background/experience; strong written communication skills
• Prior sales or sales support experience
• Familiarity with RFPs, due diligence questionnaires (DDQ), sales proposal writing; interest in a career in the proposal industry
• Tech savvy: proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; familiarity with Salesforce, Qvidian or a similar RFP management software, Seismic

 

This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs.

Job Description

  • Under guidance, assists content administrators and senior proposal writers prepare content for and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
  • Works with the team to support the development and maintenance of content, assists with proofreading, helps to prepare and coordinate submissions, assists in gathering information to tailor and customize proposals, assist with vendor relationships, works closely with the writers to meet project timelines, prospect-driven deadlines, and established service level agreements.
  • Develops knowledge of products and services that are supported by the team, participates in training sessions, reviews communications relative to this knowledge, and applies knowledge to assist with the development of proposals.
  • Identifies and manages inherent risk associated with development and distribution of requests for proposal/requests for information in a highly regulated and competitive industry.
  • Undertakes self-education on technology and tools through training modules, attending conferences, web-exes and other available resources.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $37,000.00 – $90,000.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
