AGC Biologics is seeking a Proposal Manager to join our Global Business Development organization and play a key role in supporting customers worldwide.

You will be part of the Global Proposal Management team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Proposal Management. The team consists of six Proposal Management professionals supporting global customers and multiple manufacturing sites. Acting as the central coordination point during the proposal phase, the team collaborates broadly across the organization to gather technical, operational, and commercial input, ensuring proposals are competitive, accurate, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

As a Proposal Manager, you will lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and timely delivery to customers. You will prepare pricing for the company’s services and products in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional input to gather the technical, operational, and commercial information required for high-quality proposals.

You will facilitate and lead proposal development meetings, assign responsibilities, and ensure accountability across the team while serving as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners throughout the proposal process. In addition, you will review and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, coherence, and technical accuracy, maintain comprehensive records of proposal activities and submissions, and track proposal outcomes to support win/loss analysis and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring a strong scientific foundation, structured project coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively across stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Industry Understanding

  • A Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Understanding of drug development and 2–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a CDMO
  • Solid understanding of the biotechnology industry and scientific terminology

Project & Process Capabilities

  • Proposal Management capabilities to drive semi-complex proposal processes in cross-functional teams, with a strong understanding of internal and external customer needs and priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Tools & Development

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills in proposal management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
