The Role:

The Property Manager’s role is to provide all property management services to several properties within a portfolio of five (4) CBD office buildings located in Brisbane CBD. You will work within a team that exclusively manages all aspects of these buildings’ operations and day to day management

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Property Management – management of properties allocated to your control.
  • Property Operating Environments – Assist the General Manager to make sure site staff and contractors are working in safe and efficient working environments
  • Practices, Processes and Procedures – Work closely across our dedicated team, and Head Office Support, to ensure that all JLL processes and procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Arrears – Develop strategies if required to collect any minor arrears in accordance with client expectations.
  • Leasing – Work with the client to develop a leasing strategy, taking an active role in the timely delivery of tenancies and lease documentation
  • Capex Budgeting – Actively work with the Operations Manager to deliver capex budgets in accordance with client expectations
  • Property Administration- Work with and lead the Property Administrator, to ensure that all property and tenant details are maintained in an accurate manner
  • Tenant Relations - Establish and maintain productive and positive relationships with all tenants/retailers and prospective tenants

NOTE:

After Hours Call Outs – The Property Manager and the Operations Manager will be on call 24 hours seven days per week unless otherwise advised, however a comprehensive call hierarchy makes this unlikely in normal circumstances

What you will bring:

  • Registered as a sales person with the Office of Fair Trading.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years property management experience, preferably in commercial
  • Highly organized with a methodical approach to work, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • A high degree of independence is required on a day-to-day basis, but you will report to the General Manager.
  • A good understanding of the property management database system MRI and experience in MRI Budget & Forecast is desirable.
  • A working knowledge of trust accounting policies and procedures is desirable
