What this job involves

The Retail Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day property management of a portfolio of retail properties in accordance with duties identified with the Management Agreements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing high level relationship with Clients

  • Implementation of all responsibilities as specified in the Management Agreement

  • Preparation and analysis of income/expenditure budgets, monthly reports, outgoings recoveries, forecasts and audits in accordance with the owner’s critical dates

  • Review and analyse performance of the properties e.g. monthly, quarterly reports, reforecast reports. Maintain efficient and tight control over the centre’s operating costs

  • Ensure the information within the tenancy schedule is accurate at all times

  • Ensure all applicable charges for tenants are processed in accordance with the lease

  • Collect monthly sales figures from each retailer and prepare appropriate reports as per Owner’s requirements

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

You will have strong communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills as well as:

  • Previous retail property management experience is required with a thorough knowledge of all property related functions.

  • Current Real Estate Agents Representative Certificate (including Property Management) is required.

  • Degree in Property, Business, Management or related discipline highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of Retail Tenancy Act is desirable.

  • Excellent computer skills in all Office applications
