Brown & Brown is Seeking a Property & Casualty Risk Analyst to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN
How You Will Contribute
- Gather, manage, manipulate, and analyze data sets for various projects.
- Complete various standard or ad-hoc reports.
- Run loss forecasting using actuarial templates.
- Interpret and explain the outcomes from various reports, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing.
- Provide presentations and training sessions on various outputs and systems.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
- Champion use of AI to enhance processes and drive ongoing innovation
- Set-up, manage, and support risk management information systems on behalf of clients.
- Utilize various Risk Management Information Systems to gather client data.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and dedication, no matter how small the task is at hand.
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical type of college major or background preferred; such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel & Power BI.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL encouraged, but not required.
- Working knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems encouraged, but not required.
- Ability to travel overnight by car or airplane.
- This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
Pay Range
$28.85 - 38.46 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
