About You

In this Property Accounting role, you will support accurate and compliant asset accounting while collaborating closely with global stakeholders and cross‑functional partners. You will contribute to reliable financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely decision‑making across regions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Record, review, and validate asset accounting transactions as requested by business units or identified through periodic reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Perform ongoing analysis to ensure accounting information is reliable, complete, and supports timely and informed decision‑making by country and regional stakeholders.

  • Partner closely with Property Accounting and cross‑functional teams, demonstrating strong collaboration, engagement, and ownership.

  • Support ad‑hoc analysis and reporting requests, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and review account reconciliations for accuracy and timeliness.

  • Coordinate the identification and resolution of reconciling items in line with reconciliation governance standards.

  • Consistently meet or exceed defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for LAO GBS Property Accounting processes.

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Property Accounting process.

  • Maintain high standards of documentation and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with a high level of ownership and accountability.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively while fostering collaboration and teamwork.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial controls.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to asset or property accounting processes.

  • Experience working in a Shared Services or GBS environment.

  • Familiarity with Balance Sheet reconciliations.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
