What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Author and execute change controls for capital projects

  • Contribute to project tasks and milestones, organizing work to meet deadlines and ensuring technical judgment, completeness, and accuracy.

  • Learn and apply basic team effectiveness skills within your immediate work team, working under your supervisor's direction.

  • Make decisions within limited options to resolve basic problems, with limited decision-making authority.

  • Work in a structured environment, using established procedures and seeking guidance from colleagues.

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing engineering projects, acting as a liaison between project engineers, planning teams, and line management.

  • Review project statuses and budgets, manage schedules, prepare status reports, and maintain cost spreadsheets for all assigned projects.

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.

  • Assist with the development and routing of electronic capital funding requests (eCPAs) and facilitate requests for the release of contingency funding.

  • Maintain vendor qualification documentation, purchase order tracking logs, and provide accrual guidance, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving discrepancies in purchase orders.

  • Administer Project Engineering’s SharePoint site, maintain all forms for Project Engineering, and ensure compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) when dealing with suppliers outside the US.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree with any years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Teamwork and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Capacity to quickly identify problems and structure effective solutions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Experience as a financial analyst, accountant, administrative assistant, or in other project support roles

  • Familiarity with project management and systems like Ariba and SAP

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment

  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,600.00 to $114,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
