We have an exciting opportunity as Project Supply Manager (PSM) for EOS Spanish Programmes (PAZ-2), based in Getafe site, serving the Earth Observation, Science and Exploration (EOSX) Business Line and to strengthen the EOSX Programme Procurement team (TSPOP).
In the role of PSM you will be the Procurement direct interface to the Project/Program and be responsible for the procurement of all needs for the project by executing and delivering the “Industrial and Procurement Plan”. You are responsible to manage, represent and orchestrate the Procurement organisation towards the EOSX Programmes.
You will be instrumental in running firm Projects securing external supplier deliveries and de-risking the MAIT Phase of our satellite missions and platforms, as well as in Early Phases (Phase A/B1) and Bid preparation (B2/C/D Bids) by securing compliant, reliable and competitive offers.
Your main tasks will be to:
Lead and orchestrate all sourcing from suppliers towards seleceted Projects and Bids according to sourcing strategies & project constraints
Ensure On-Time, On-Cost and On-Quality deliveries from suppliers by mitigating risks and managing deviations in close collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, AIT/Production and all Procurement roles (Commodity, Supply Chain, Supplier Development, Contracts, …)
Maintain and consolidate Project dedicated dashboards and KPIs reporting on Subcontractor performance, namely Risks & Opportunities, Schedule, Cost, Cashout, On-Quality metrics, and Change Management
Consolidate and drive adherence to project EAC's in the procurement domain, monitor cost evolution and drive respective mitigation plans/resource planning
Secure competitive, reliable and compliant supplier offers in support of Bids: schedule, cost, technical and industrial maturity
Driving and consolidating within Procurement cost brochures for Bids detailing Procurement and Supply Management commitments
Support management meetings with Customer chain (Agencies, Govs, …), and support Subcontractor escalation meetings and/or supplier negotiations
Ensure that Procurement processes are correctly and systematically applied, as well as deviations configured
Be a driving force to operationalise and continuously improve the procurement of goods and services to EOS Project teams
Skills and Qualifications
Degree level in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
Several years of experience in Procurement, and/or Project Management, and/or Engineering in the space industry (or comparable business sector). Business/Commercial or Industrial/Production Engineering experience is a plus
Extensive experience of working in a project environment
Knowledge of working with space industry standards and Best Practices would be a plus
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to lead, drive and inspire others
Entrepreneurial mindset and positive attitude
Experience of working in an international/multi-cultural environment
Negotiation level in English is required, Spanish is of advantage
