The opportunity
As a Project Supply Chain Manager at Hitachi, you will play a key role in driving project success from tendering through to final delivery. Working closely with our Sales and Project teams, you will lead all Supply Chain Management activities and strengthen our competitiveness by identifying optimal suppliers, securing the best commercial terms and right prices.
You will be involved in projects of varying size and scope. Our customers perform their businesses in various fields, which means that the technology used also varies.
How you'll make an impact
You will plan, execute, and report on project sourcing performance.
Define Project Procurement Rules.
Establish and maintain the Project Procurement Plan.
Oversee Order Placement and Deliveries to ensure timely execution and cost control.
Develop and manage the supplier base and associated risks.
Handle Supplier Quality Issues, Claim Management, and Supplier Performance Evaluation.
Monitor and forecast cost reduction initiatives and spending trends.
Your background
Sound knowledge of project supply chain execution.
Technical, Contractual and Commercial understanding.
Technical degree/Commercial degree.
Project execution experience.
Product experience/knowledge.
Knowing Norwegian, both spoken and written, is an advantage.
