Job Summary

NineDot is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Scheduler to play a critical role in delivering community-scale Battery Storage projects that accelerate the clean energy transition. In this role, you will partner closely with Development, Engineering, and Construction teams to build and maintain integrated master project schedules that guide projects from early-stage planning through construction and commissioning. You’ll be at the center of dynamic, cross-functional collaboration, translating scope, resources, procurement timelines, and cost data into actionable schedules that drive execution and support strategic decision-making across the portfolio.

This is an opportunity to work on fast-moving, high-impact energy infrastructure projects while helping shape the company’s project controls processes. You’ll analyze critical paths, identify risks, support cash flow planning for long-lead equipment, and provide insights that keep projects on track and aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Development, Engineering, Permitting & Planning, Construction, Supply Chain, and Project Finance teams to develop comprehensive project schedules for community-scale Battery Storage projects.
  • Drive ongoing enhancements to portfolio and master scheduling processes, improving the integration of scope, resources, timelines, and cost loading.
  • Work with the Data and Project Controls teams to ensure schedules are incorporated into all relevant cost management tools, processes, and workflows.
  • Monitor and update project schedules regularly to reflect progress, changes, and potential delays.
  • Work closely with project teams to collect accurate and timely progress information.
  • Provide recommendations for mitigating risks and optimizing project timelines.
  • Assess the impact of changes on project schedules and communicate adjustments to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop strategies for managing changes without compromising project timelines.
  • Prepare and present regular project schedule reports, highlighting key milestones, critical paths, and potential risks.
  • Analyze schedule performance and provide insights to project teams and management.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide schedule-related updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, or capital projects.
  • Experience building and maintaining integrated master project schedules.
  • Familiarity with critical path method (CPM) scheduling and schedule risk analysis.
  • Experience integrating cost-loading into schedules to support forecasting and cash flow planning.
  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing, procurement timelines, and long-lead equipment planning.
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with cost management or project controls systems is a plus.
  • Experience supporting utility-scale or community-scale energy projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with EPC contracts and milestone-based payment structures.
  • Understanding of cost controls integration with scheduling.
  • PMP, PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), or similar certification is a plus.
