SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Drive end-to-end purchasing operations in the Waterbased Factory Project to ensure material availability, cost efficiency, and strong supplier performance, while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to optimize supply chain strategies.Responsibilities:
Manage purchasing and planning Indirect Materials (IM) of Waterbased Factory project in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Ensure all purchases align with global/regional agreements, pricing structures, and policies.
Monitor and follow up on purchase orders, proactively addressing supply risks, delays, and shortages.
Collaborate with Group Purchasing (GP) category managers on demand planning, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
Conduct supplier sourcing, evaluation, relationship management, and negotiate pricing and supplier agreements.
Manage logistics solutions, including packaging, shipment, and custom clearance.
Ensure cost efficiency and value-for-money purchasing across all indirect spending.
Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and local laws.
Oversee supplier invoice verification and ensure timely payment processing.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 7 years of indirect purchasing in new factory set up.
Experience in managing FIDIC contracts, shipment process and custom clearance.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in both spoken and written in English.
