PROJECT & PRODUCT MANAGER - DIGITAL SERVICES & TECHNOLOGY OFFICE

[What the role is]

To bridge business needs and technical delivery for NP’s Enterprise and AI platform.

This role drives the roadmap and implementation of DAISY’s core service layers—Data-as-a-Service, Insight-as-a-Service, and Advanced-Analytics-as-a-Service—ensuring the Enterprise Data Lakehouse meets NP’s strategic and operational goals.

You will also be leading stakeholders’ workshops for requirements, managing backlogs, prioritizing user requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of the product and stakeholders’ use-cases.

This is a 2-year contract position in the Digital Services & Technology Office.

[What you will be working on]

Product Ownership

• Define product roadmap for the Lakehouse platform (dashboards, ingestion, AI/ML use cases).

• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product features and user stories that align with NP Data and AI platform service model.

• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and technical feasibility.

Project Delivery

• Manage Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

• Tracks progress, risks, and dependencies across ingestion, governance, AI, security teams.

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Platform/Security Engineers, Governance Leads, and AI teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.

• Prepares progress reports and updates for leadership.

Collaboration

• Acts as the main liaison between business stakeholders and the engineering team.

• Ensures alignment between strategic goals (analytics, predictive models, governance) and implementation work.

• Support change management and adoption of new analytics/AI tools by business teams.

[What we are looking for]

• Preferably 3–5 years in product management or project management roles.

• Prior exposure to data/analytics or cloud projects preferred.

• Experience working with Agile teams in a technical environment.

Skills & Certifications

• Certifications:

  • Agile/Scrum Master or Product Owner certification (CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP).

  • PMP or PRINCE2.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data platforms.

  • Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, or BI/analytics tools is a plus.

• Other Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering.

  • Backlog management (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar tools).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
