Key Responsibilities:
Project implementation
Lead and support project implementation, coordination, engagement with project participants and stakeholders, engage with PHA in the planning of activities against the workplan and lead community engagements and capacity building initiatives.
Technical Support and Capacity Building
Provide training and mentoring to local partners, Village Health Assistants (VHAs), schools, and youth groups on climate adaptation, preparedness, and environmental stewardship. Support functional Community-Based Disaster Risk Management Committees (CBDRMCs).
Budget Management
Support the finance and admin team relating to project implementation, including preparation of cash requests and acquittals, ensure timely management and resource utilization in line with the developed Annual and Quarterly work plans and support the coordination and logistics for workshops and field visits.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Learning
Collect and analyze data on climate-related activities and indicators. Support participatory monitoring and documentation of lessons learned, case studies, and success stories for donor reporting.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
Strengthen coordination with local authorities, NGOs, schools, and faith-based organizations. Facilitate community dialogues and youth participation in local climate initiatives.
