Project Manager

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the development and management of engineering projects at the Tallaght site. Reporting directly to the Site Engineering Lead, this role oversees project governance and coordinates stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, in accordance with Zoetis standards for safety, quality, engineering, and finance. The position requires effective collaboration across departments and a practical approach to project management.

Responsibilities:

Prepare scope, cost estimates, and project schedules for business approval. Lead the capital procurement process, including vendor approval, purchase requisitions, justification reports, purchase order approvals, and invoice reviews.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and company quality procedures, as well as environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Collaborate with department and functional leads to define project scope and user requirements & Prepare Capital Project Appropriation (CPA) requests for new projects

Develop and manage project execution plans for approved projects.

Represent Tallaght Engineering in Zoetis Global Engineering Capital meetings & Capital governance reporting for all site projects.

Provide Weekly and Monthly reports on project performance to Site leadership while Managing capital spending and update the capital database with monthly forecasts.

Develop annual capital budgets and maintain them throughout the financial year. Develop and maintain project management governance tools, processes, and procedures.

Support capital grant initiatives and interact with relevant Irish authorities & Assist with capital financial audits as required

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Process Engineering (required).

Trade Qualified with significant project management experience will be considered.

Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience /trade qualification in engineering or manufacturing environments.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is preferred but not required.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.

Strong technical skills demonstrated leadership ability, and effective collaboration qualities.

Proven ability to deliver projects in environments with moderate complexity and limited budgets.
