Your position
As a Project Manager within Vanderlande’s Warehousing business unit, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving project success. Based at our offices and on customer sites, you’ll work closely with our head office to ensure seamless project execution. From planning to delivery, you’ll keep projects on track—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is your opportunity to take ownership, build strong relationships, and make a tangible impact on delivering exceptional results for our customers
You’ll manage projects ranging from 5 million to 50 million, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves financial responsibility, P&L ownership and some travel across projects
This is an excellent opportunity for career progression, with clear pathways to senior and director-level roles. Experience in Industrial Automation or FMCG or similar industries is ideal, but strong project management skills and financial acumen are essential.
Create robust, ambitious project plans and spot potential risks early to keep everything on track.
Take full ownership of planning and execution, ensuring quality, timelines, costs, and communication are all managed seamlessly.
Bring people together, mobilising internal resources and aligning teams to achieve project goals.
Negotiate confidently and professionally with customers and subcontractors, handling contracts with expertise.
Manage stakeholders at every level, including senior leadership inside and outside Vanderlande.
Keep an eye out for new business opportunities and turn them into real value for the company.
Skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in project management, engineering, or a related field.
Proven ability to thrive in a business-to-business environment. Strong project management expertise with experience leading large, complex projects.
Skilled at building and maintaining client relationships to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Solid business acumen with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Acts as a trusted senior partner, managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and team-building skills.
Comfortable working in an international environment and across diverse cultures, with flexibility for travel.
Inspirational leadership style combined with decisiveness to guide and motivate large project teams.
Multi-disciplinary approach with the ability to integrate different perspectives and solutions.
