Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a solid background in architecture and urban design to lead the implementation of urban design codes.
Strong command of project management practices, design review processes, and stakeholder coordination.
Reports To: Asset Design Management
Location: Abha, Saudi Arabia
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and manage the implementation of urban design codes across multiple stakeholders and projects.
Review and interpret submitted architectural proposals for compliance and approvals.
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure adherence to design review processes and criteria.
Manage external consultants and design teams from the client/PMC side, ensuring alignment with project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Develop project plans, monitor progress, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and manage change effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and deliver clear presentations and training sessions to stakeholders and government entities.
Document decisions, maintain records, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Ensure effective communication and alignment among all project participants.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or urban design.
Minimum of 12 years (if Saudi) or 18 years (if non-Saudi) of experience in architecture, urban design, or project management within the built environment.
Fluency in Arabic (must) and proficiency in English.
Strong understanding of urban design code frameworks, planning regulations, and design review principles.
Proven project management skills, including planning, coordination, resource management, and reporting.
