Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a solid background in architecture and urban design to lead the implementation of urban design codes.

Strong command of project management practices, design review processes, and stakeholder coordination.
 

Reports To: Asset Design Management

Location: Abha, Saudi Arabia

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage the implementation of urban design codes across multiple stakeholders and projects.

  • Review and interpret submitted architectural proposals for compliance and approvals.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure adherence to design review processes and criteria.

  • Manage external consultants and design teams from the client/PMC side, ensuring alignment with project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Develop project plans, monitor progress, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.

  • Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and manage change effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare and deliver clear presentations and training sessions to stakeholders and government entities.

  • Document decisions, maintain records, and provide regular updates to senior management.

  • Ensure effective communication and alignment among all project participants.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or urban design.

  • Minimum of 12 years (if Saudi) or 18 years (if non-Saudi) of experience in architecture, urban design, or project management within the built environment.

  • Fluency in Arabic (must) and proficiency in English.

  • Strong understanding of urban design code frameworks, planning regulations, and design review principles.

  • Proven project management skills, including planning, coordination, resource management, and reporting.
