The Legal Compliance Organization (LCO) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA and second headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI provides legal guidance to further KLA’s strategic objectives and protect and preserve the legal, ethical and financial integrity and reputation of the Company. We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Project Manager to join our Global Trade Compliance team. This role is responsible for leading complex projects while serving as the primary analyst for project performance data. The position will translate raw project data into actionable insights, surfacing risks early, monitoring financial viability, and streamlining workflows through automation. The ideal candidate ensures projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while providing data-backed recommendations to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones for cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the central point of contact, facilitating meetings and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Budgeting: Track project budgets and financial reports, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Dashboard Development: Create, maintain, and update interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Excel) that visualize project performance, budget variances, and KPIs such as license utilization, audit findings, or regulatory deadlines
Workflow Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in existing processes, auditing workflows to reduce manual reporting, explore opportunities to incorporate AI to drive efficiencies.
Data Integrity: Ensure accurate collection, cleaning, and reporting of data from various sources.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 2–5 years of combined experience in project management and data analytics.
Technical Proficiency:
Data Tools: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying/validating datasets.
Visualization: Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Project Software: Experience with Jira, Asana, MS Project, or Monday.com.
Excel: Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Power Query, Power Pivot).
Workflow Automation: Experience with workflow automation tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong skill in translating ambiguity into structured analysis, using data to isolate root causes and drive informed decisions
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical metrics into executive summaries.
Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
